The west-end of Broadway is in dire need of a face-lift. the construction of a bridge connecting Sacramento and West Sacramento should be considered in the planning and on a parallel track. I would highly suggest that one element of this project include the renovation of the soccer fields at O'neil Park. Having grown up in the adjacent neighborhood along Muir Way, I can say the influence of the housing projects (both New Helvetia and Seavey Circle) has long been a blight on this neighborhood.
