| Proposed Marshall Hotel renovation |
In a move to transform and upgrade the Marshall Hotel on L Street, renderings have been released showing a piss poor attempt to make it attractive combining both the old and new. The developer Presidio Cos. said it hopes to start construction sometime next fall of the 130 hotel rooms, topped by 10 to 15 apartments or condominiums.

Why do you consider it "piss poor"?
ReplyDeletebecause it smells like piss around that building...and lots of poor people live there, henceforth...piss poor.
ReplyDeletePainting over the brick and the piss poor attempt to combine both the existing historic building with new construction. The new structure does not fit with the old... it does not enhance the over all look in my opinion. ReplyDeleteHow disappointing. Hyatt Place while nice is basic, boring and bland. City leaders should court better hotels such as W, Kimpton, Westin, Andaz, or Le Meridien.
