'Swing Space' State Office Building Construction

On March 6th construction began on a 10-story State Office building on O Street between 10th and 11th Streets. The building will serve as temporary office space for legislative and executive 'swing space' elected officials and staff from the Capitol Annex until the new Annex project is completed. The building will then be jointly used as office space for legislative and executive employees. Completion is expected in the fall 2021.

Description: 10-story office building of 472,000sf to serve as "swing" space during Capitol Annex rehab project at the State Capitol building. The cost will be $423.6 million and completed in fall 2021.
