  2. This building sits right across the street from the city jail; I can't imagine there is much demand for that location other than those who are extremely low income. If the building looks cool, what does it matter what it’s used for? SHRA is gone now, so be thankful that this happen at all.

  5. residential that's not ultra low income? a combination of residential and office? some commercial in the mix? some art studios? anything but ultra low income. that's certainly not going to change anything downtown. it doesn't take a genius to figure these things out.

  6. What you described was there for nearly 40 years, office on the first three floors and residential above. Obviously that did not workout. Unless the city or state subside the art studio like they will be doing for elderly persons that would not be an option. I go to these meeting (city council & commissions) and understand why many of these decisions are made and offer ideas during the development process, do you get involved Anonymous or just sit on the sidelines?

  7. please explain 1. how any individual not already deeply involved in the process of design/approval/government really can have any effect on projects like these and 2. why i'm not allowed to disagree with the decision that was made on this project? if i went to a city council meeting and expressed how i felt, someone like you would just come along and dismiss my idea outright.

  8. 1.If you have never done it then you really don't know what you’re talking about. I have influenced change or continued discussing on several projects and on several occasions brought in to talk with the Council members and city staff. 2. All you do is complain and disagree to the point you have taken several personal pop shots at myself which were uncalled for and I deleted. If this is how you express yourself, I can understand why other would also dismiss your idea outright.

  10. From an ex-Sacramentan-thanks for the photo updates-all of them. The rehab looks sharp and I can't wait to see the progress of East End as the summer goes on.

Anything going on in township 9? last time I drove through (Christmas) the light rail station was nearly done but that was about it.

  11. The best place to follow Township 9 is on Facebook. Not much to talk about right now.
