It appears this State Office Building is nearly finished with the exterior. The building skin still needs to install fins or smart shading to minimize direct sun on exterior glazing. The new 10-story state office mid-rise at the corner of 10th & O Streets in Sacramento has topped out and the exterior skin of the building is nearly completed and wrapped around the structure. IMO, the exterior skin looks much different from the renderings.

Construction on the State of California ‘Swing Space’ Office Building is moving right along. The mid-rise will be 10 stories with 472,000SF of office space at a cost of $423.6 million. When completed in fall of 2021, it will be used as temporary office space for legislative and executive elected officials and staff from the Capitol Annex until the new Annex project is completed. 'Swing Space' State Office Building Construction

On March 6th construction began on a 10-story State Office building on O Street between 10th and 11th Streets. The building will serve as temporary office space for legislative and executive 'swing space' elected officials and staff from the Capitol Annex until the new Annex project is completed. The building will then be jointly used as office space for legislative and executive employees. Completion is expected in the fall 2021.
