Midtown's 15Q Project Up For Review

15Q mixed-use project planned for 1430 Q Street 


















D&S Development will go before the Planning and DesignCommission on Thursday to request approval of 15Q, an 8 story mixed use building. Located in the R Street Corridor, this 73 residential unit is asking for permits to exceed the maximum density and height for the district.

This mixed-use project also includes 97 parking spaces on levels 1 through 3, total building square footage 158,355, total height of 97.6”, and zero streetsides setbacks.

The Planning and Design Commissions staff has recommended approval of this project. The site is currently a paved parking lot.

Q Street Apartment Proposal

This week D&S Development submitted plans for an eight-story complex with 73 units at the southwest corner of 15th and Q streets.

The project called 1430 Q will have 9,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level and 97 parking spaces underground and on the second level according to the SacramentoBee. Other characteristics the building will feature include colorful porcelain tile accents on the building’s exterior, a rooftop patio, a third-floor courtyard, a double-deck bike barn and individual residential storage units. Construction could begin by the end of the year and be completed by the end of 2017

i15 Project Cancelled

i15, a mixed-use project of eight stories at 1431 I St.






















After nearly a 1 1/2 years of planning, D&S development has cancelled a mixed-use project planned for I Street. According to The Sacramento Bee, the reason is that the 8000 SF site is to small. The location is now up for sale asking $1.595 million. D&S Development has successfully completed other projects in the downtown area including 16Powerhouse and the now under construction 700 K Street.
